Our Story

The Fresno County Hispanic Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, Inc. was founded in 1977 by a dedicated group of community members who recognized the urgent need for local services tailored to Spanish-speaking individuals struggling with alcoholism. Initially focused on information and referral services, the organization has evolved to offer comprehensive Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling services for both English and Spanish-speaking individuals and their families. The Commission proudly operates a licensed DUI program and a men's residential recovery home, serving both urban and rural areas throughout Fresno County.
