Our Story

Fresno Barrios Unidos is a dedicated social justice nonprofit with over thirty years of service in Fresno and Fresno County. Originating in the 1970s as a grassroots violence intervention initiative, it has evolved to empower historically challenged youth through health, wellness, and advocacy.

Impact

Each year, Fresno Barrios Unidos uplifts 90 young families through mentorship, parent education, and healing opportunities. Collaborating with local authorities, it has transformed schools into sanctuary sites and engaged the community in critical discussions about law enforcement, ensuring youth voices are heard.
