Fresh Future Farm was established in 2014 to combat food deserts in the Chicora-Cherokee community, empowering residents through grassroots food activism.

Impact

Since its inception, Fresh Future Farm has enhanced community wellness by creating a closed-loop local food system, providing subsidized meals, and opening the first grocery store in over a decade, distributing 18 tons of groceries.
