Our Story
The Freedom Youth Foundation was founded in November 2011, inspired by a peace camp initiative in Serbia. Shane Hanson envisioned a nonprofit dedicated to serving foster youth, addressing the challenges they face in the foster care system. Since then, FYF has expanded its mission to include sports clinics, financial literacy workshops, and mentorship programs.
Impact
FYF has positively impacted over 4,500 youth through more than 100 events, providing essential support and resources.
