Freedom Within Walls is dedicated to combating childhood hunger and enhancing educational opportunities for underserved children in Charlotte, NC, and Greenville, SC. By addressing the nutritional gap faced by children during school breaks and after school hours, the organization ensures that children receive healthy meals and support for their overall development.

Every day, Freedom Within Walls serves over 1,500 children with after-school meals and reaches more than 5,000 children during the summer, significantly reducing childhood hunger and improving health and academic performance.
