Our Story

Founded in 2004 by Drs. Bonnie and David Paul, the Freedom to Choose Project began its mission in the largest maximum-security women’s prison in the world. Inspired by Viktor Frankl's teachings, the organization focuses on helping incarcerated individuals reclaim their identities as valuable members of society through compassionate experiential education.
