Founded in 2014, Free to Run operates in some of the world’s most challenging regions, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine. The organization focuses on empowering young women and girls who are disproportionately affected by conflict and restrictions on their rights. Through running and rights-based programs, participants gain the tools to become leaders, challenge negative gender norms, and reclaim public spaces.
