Our Story

Founded in December 2009 by two friends, including a retired school teacher, Free 2 Teach addresses the critical need for educational supplies. Starting with surplus donations from local businesses, the organization has expanded to a 10,000 square foot store, providing free resources to over 3,800 teachers and their 53,000 students in Madison County, Alabama.

Impact

Since its inception, Free 2 Teach has distributed over $14.7 million worth of free resources, impacting more than 20,000 teacher visits and ensuring that every child has access to necessary educational supplies.
