Our Story

In the winter of 2013, Hailey Johnston envisioned a way to support and empower women in need. Gathering like-minded women, she formed Free 2 Fly’s first Board of Directors. By 2014, the vision was introduced to the community, leading to the launch of the beloved ‘bird & barn’ fundraiser. This market-style event showcases local handmade vendors, with a portion of sales benefiting Free 2 Fly. Over the years, this event has become a cherished tradition and a vital source of funding.
