Our Story

The Fred S Keller School, through the Comprehensive Application of Behavior Analysis to Schooling (CABAS®), pioneers a scientific approach to education. This innovative model prioritizes learner-driven education, ensuring that teaching methods are tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Initially focused on children and adolescents with disabilities, CABAS® has gained recognition for its effectiveness, particularly in educating children with autism. As the model expanded, it became the preferred educational framework for numerous schools across the USA, England, and Ireland.

Impact

Data from general education classes at the Fred S Keller School reveal remarkable academic achievements. Students consistently perform above their grade levels in reading, math, and language. For instance, upper middle-class children score at an 8th-grade level by the end of second grade, while minority and economically disadvantaged students achieve 6th-grade proficiency. English language learners perform at a 5th-grade level, and children with autism spectrum disorders reach 4th-grade benchmarks.
