The Franklin County Lacrosse Club was established in March 2012 to promote and develop the sport of lacrosse in Franklin County, Virginia, and surrounding areas. Starting with over 30 players, the club has expanded to field multiple teams across various age groups, emphasizing values such as scholastic achievement, sportsmanship, team spirit, and healthy competition.
Since its inception, the club has successfully introduced lacrosse to the community, with Franklin County High School fielding its first teams in 2014. By 2016, over 100 boys were participating in the program, providing youth with opportunities to engage in sports and develop important life skills.
