Fox Valley Memory Project

Our Story

Fox Valley Memory Project was established to address the needs of older adults, particularly those living with dementia and their care partners. Initiated by the Basic Needs Giving Partnership of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, FVMP launched its first Memory Café in 2012, creating dementia-friendly communities and expanding outreach since becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2018.

Through its innovative programs, Fox Valley Memory Project has successfully created a supportive network for individuals with dementia and their families. Initiatives like Memory Cafés foster social engagement and community inclusion, significantly improving the quality of life for those affected.
