About Fountain City Brass Band

Founded in 2002, Fountain City Brass Band is an all-volunteer thirty-piece brass and percussion ensemble based in Kansas City. The band is dedicated to cultural enrichment through eclectic concerts that entertain and educate audiences. With members from across the United States, it performs a diverse repertoire, including modern compositions and arrangements of classical, jazz, and Broadway music.

Impact of Fountain City Brass Band

Fountain City Brass Band has made a significant impact by presenting countless concerts on multiple continents. The band has won the North American Brass Band Championships 8 times and the U.S. Open Brass Band Championships 10 times, making history as the first band in over 50 years to win a major brass band competition on U.K. soil.
