Our Story
For over fifty years, Foundry Gallery has been a cornerstone of the Washington, DC art scene, dedicated to supporting and showcasing the talents of promising and accomplished artists. Established in 1971 by four students of renowned painter Gene Davis, this non-profit, artist-owned cooperative gallery has evolved through various locations, now residing in a vibrant neighborhood on 8th Street, NW. Foundry Gallery is committed to providing exposure and recognition to new and emerging artists, featuring original works of art that are often not widely seen.
