Our Story

Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) is a dedicated non-profit organization that has expanded to 182 communities across 27 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. With a humble beginning from a $7,000 investment, RHF has grown through the vision of three United Church of Christ (UCC) leaders into one of the largest organizations focused on affordable housing for older adults, low-income families, and persons with disabilities.
