Our Story
Founded in 1973 by dedicated local citizens and the Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC) administration, the Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools (FMCCS) was established to provide a Margin of Excellence that tax funding alone could not offer. Over the years, FMCCS has enriched the educational landscape for students by funding essential resources such as books, STEM equipment, field trips, and professional development for teachers.
Impact
Every year, FMCCS positively impacts over 10,800 students in the MCCSC, providing grant funding for innovative projects and essential food assistance.
