About The Foundation

The Foundation was established by Brian Schottenstein and Cardale Jones, two passionate advocates for Ohio State athletics and community support. Cardale, a championship-winning quarterback from Ohio State’s 2014 National Championship team, recognized the need for student-athletes to benefit from their name, image, and likeness (NIL). Together with Brian, a successful real estate developer, they launched The Foundation in February 2022 to empower Ohio State student-athletes while promoting charitable organizations.

Impact of The Foundation

In its inaugural year, The Foundation has successfully supported over 100 student-athletes in football and basketball, raising funds from fans, donors, and local businesses. This initiative not only aids athletes but also fosters community engagement through charitable work in Ohio.
