Our Story
Çudamani traces its roots to the 1970s when children in the village of Pengosekan gathered to play music. Over the years, this passion evolved into an organization that became a source of pride for the village, addressing the challenges posed by tourism on the arts. In 1997, a group of talented young individuals from various regions in Bali united to form Sanggar Çudamani, dedicated to maintaining the vitality of Balinese arts through performance and education.
Impact
Çudamani has provided gamelan and dance instruction to hundreds of young people, significantly raising the standards of women's gamelan performance and ensuring the continuation of Balinese cultural traditions.
