Our Story

Founded in 1986 by a compassionate Bible study group, the Foundation for the Homeless began by distributing day-old donuts to day laborers in Austin. This humble initiative blossomed into a comprehensive breakfast program, providing meals, showers, and clothing, ultimately leading to the establishment of the Foundation for the Homeless in 1989.
