The Foundation for International Understanding Through Students (FIUTS) was established in 1948 by a dedicated group of University of Washington administrators, faculty, and local business leaders. With a mission to foster global peace and understanding, FIUTS has created a welcoming environment for international students through various programs, including homestays, mentoring, and cultural events.
