The Foundation for International Education in Neurological Surgery (FIENS) is dedicated to enhancing neurosurgical care worldwide. Established in 1969, FIENS focuses on building partnerships between established and emerging neurosurgical programs, providing essential training and education to neurosurgeons, especially in low-and-middle-income countries.

Impact

FIENS addresses the urgent need for trained neurosurgeons in regions where millions require surgical support but lack access. The goal is to train at least 23,000 neurosurgeons, significantly improving access to life-saving procedures.
