Founded in 2004 by a dedicated group of parents, staff, and community members, the Foundation for Central Schools is committed to enriching the educational experience for every student in Central Unified. With a focus on innovative classroom projects, the Foundation has provided essential resources such as grants for teachers, scholarships for students, and warm clothing to ensure that no child is left behind. Over the years, the Foundation has raised nearly $1.5 million, making a significant impact on the lives of students and educators alike.

Making a Lasting Impact

To date, the Foundation has distributed over 22,000 coats and sweaters, awarded $200,727 in scholarships, and provided more than $500,000 in grants for teachers and students. These efforts ensure that every child has access to quality educational resources and opportunities.
