The Foundation for Bedford Central Schools was established in 2011 by dedicated community residents in response to a call from the superintendent. This initiative aims to support educational projects across the seven schools in the Bedford Central School District, enhancing learning opportunities for all students.
Since its inception, the Foundation has funded grants for new curriculum, provided 15,000 books to classroom libraries, and delivered over 100 internships and job shadows to high school students, among other initiatives.
