Our Story

Founded in 2004 by passionate students at the University of Montana, Forward Montana Foundation aims to break down barriers preventing young people from engaging in politics. Starting with local issues like recycling and tenant rights, FMF has grown into Montana's largest youth civic engagement organization, with dedicated staff across multiple cities.
