About Carriage House

Founded in 1997, the Carriage House is a certified 'Clubhouse Model' rehabilitation program dedicated to assisting individuals in their recovery from serious mental illness. Located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, this innovative program allows members to work alongside staff on meaningful tasks that are essential for the clubhouse's operation. This collaborative environment fosters relationships that build confidence and self-esteem, empowering members to reclaim their lives.

Over the years, the Carriage House has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from a few dozen members to over 1,800, with an active membership of more than 200. The program has successfully assisted over 300 individuals in returning to work and over 160 in pursuing educational goals, demonstrating its profound impact on the community.
