The Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society was founded in June 1951, starting with just twelve members. As the Society grew, it transitioned from private homes to larger venues, including the Birch State Park Garden Center and St. Anthony’s School. Today, meetings are held at Christ Lutheran Church, where a vibrant community of orchid enthusiasts gathers to share their passion.
Through numerous orchid shows and educational events, the Society fosters a deep appreciation for orchids and promotes conservation efforts.
