Founded in 2011 by Anna Kogan, Forgotten Animals Foundation, originally known as Big Hearts Foundation, is the first international organization dedicated to animal welfare in remote and overlooked towns of Russia. With a dedicated team and numerous volunteers, the foundation operates in over 30 cities, focusing on both companion and wild animals.
Forgotten Animals has established the largest network of shelters and animal welfare professionals in the vast regions of Russia, alleviating suffering and preventing deaths while enhancing the lives of both animals and people.
