Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center

Our Story

Founded in 2014 as the Breast Cancer Survivorship Rehabilitation Initiative, Forge began its journey to address the critical needs of breast cancer survivors in central Alabama. After identifying significant gaps in support through a community assessment, Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center was established in 2016 as a collaborative effort among major health care systems in the region. In 2020, Forge became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, continuing its mission to provide comprehensive support for breast cancer patients and their families.
