Founded in 2008 by Michele Bolinger, Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary operates as a dedicated refuge for horses and other animals affected by neglect and abuse. After witnessing the plight of thoroughbred racehorses, Michele rescued her first horse, Foreveramber, igniting a passion for animal welfare that led to the establishment of this sanctuary.
Since gaining 501(c)(3) status in 2014, FAAAS has rescued and rehomed over 45 horses, including many off-track thoroughbreds, while also providing homes for countless dogs, cats, and wildlife. The sanctuary offers equine-assisted therapy programs that support veterans and first responders in overcoming physical and emotional challenges.
