Our Story
In 2005, a dedicated group of parents recognized the urgent need for ongoing services in East Elmhurst, Queens, New York. With an influx of low-income, Latinx, and diverse communities, the demand for accessible youth programs and family activities became critical. For The Youth, Inc. was established to provide essential support services, particularly for English Language Learners. Over the years, the organization has hosted six consecutive years of sports activities, implemented a satellite site in Queens, and operated a home-based office in the Bronx. By employing youth through NYC's Department of Youth and Children Development SYEP program and launching the first juvenile justice project in the area, For The Youth, Inc. has made significant strides in uplifting at-risk youth and their families.
