Our Story

Founded in 2015 by Sade' Carrasquillo, For The Love Of The Arts Inc emerged from a deep passion for the arts and a commitment to youth empowerment. Initially based in Hammond, Indiana, the organization quickly expanded its reach to the East Chicago school district through a partnership with Communities in Schools Of Lake County. Over the years, For The Love Of The Arts has adapted to the evolving needs of the communities it serves, providing a platform for talented artists to share their skills as instructors. The organization uniquely focuses on life skills, social skills, and mental wellness, equipping students with the tools they need to thrive as productive adults who aspire to create and inspire others.
