Our Story

For the Love of Cats, Inc. is a dedicated 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2002 by Jan and Jim Rich. Witnessing the growing feral cat population in Collier County, Florida, they initiated a mission to end the cruelty of cat overpopulation through TNR (trap-neuter-return) programs. Over the years, the organization has expanded its efforts to include support for low-income families, emergency veterinary care, and adoption initiatives.

Impact

Each year, For the Love of Cats saves the lives of 300-400 cats through vital programs and public outreach. With over 500 kittens rescued and 4,500 cats sterilized, the organization has made a significant impact on the feral cat population in the community.
