Foothills Food Bank

Our Story

Established in 1986, Foothills Food Bank began in a small activity room and has since expanded to serve hundreds of households each week from a larger facility. This organization operates as a free grocery store for anyone in need in East Whatcom County, providing a variety of food options and advocating for local food systems.

Impact

Last year, Foothills Food Bank served 29,036 people and distributed 511,525 pounds of food, supported by nearly 5,600 volunteer hours.
