Founded in 2011 by Matt and Bobbie Brown, along with Nathan McFall, FoodWaves emerged from a shared vision of sustainable agriculture and education. After their experiences as Peace Corps volunteers in Togo, West Africa, they recognized the need for hands-on training in food production. This initiative has since blossomed into a vital resource for communities in Clackamas County.
FoodWaves is dedicated to cultivating food justice and enhancing access to healthy food. By providing organic vegetables to food banks and supporting low-income families in growing their own food, the organization plays a crucial role in improving food security.
