Since 1978, Food Share has been at the forefront of the fight against hunger in Ventura County. What began as a grassroots effort by eight friends providing food under a bridge has transformed into a robust operation with three warehouses spanning 46,000 square feet in Oxnard, CA. Today, Food Share distributes nearly 19 million pounds of food annually, partnering with 175 local pantries and programs to ensure that 267,000+ individuals receive the nourishment they need.
