Our Story

FoodCorps is dedicated to nourishing kids’ health, education, and sense of belonging. By partnering with schools and communities, the organization ensures that every child experiences the joy and power of food. Operating across 18 states, FoodCorps employs service members who deliver impactful programs, including hands-on nutrition education and the establishment of school gardens.

Impact

FoodCorps has positively impacted over 160,000 children in more than 350 schools. By the end of the school year, over 75% of FoodCorps schools reported healthier food environments. Surveys show that seven out of ten students at these schools tried new foods and developed a more positive attitude toward fruits and vegetables.
