The Foodbank of Southern California has been a beacon of hope since 1975, providing essential food resources to impoverished children, families, and seniors in Los Angeles County. Focusing on the most vulnerable neighborhoods, including downtown Los Angeles, Compton, and Watts, this organization is a leader in distributing fresh produce, delivering over 22 million pounds annually.

Each month, the Foodbank serves at least 250,000 individuals, addressing food insecurity for 2.5% of L.A. County’s population. With an annual distribution of 40-60 million pounds of food, the Foodbank reaches over 850,000 people in need.
