Our Story

Since 1981, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore has proudly provided over 380 million meals to neighbors in need. This organization plays a vital role in the fight against hunger by collecting, storing, and distributing food while addressing the root causes of food insecurity.

Impact

Last year, over 21 million pounds of food were distributed to those in need, highlighting the ongoing struggle of over 132,240 food-insecure individuals in the service area.
