Our Story
Food Well Alliance is a collaborative network of local leaders dedicated to building equitable and thriving community gardens, urban farms, and orchards across metro Atlanta. Established through the vision of Jim Kennedy and Bill Bolling, this initiative aims to connect local growers and foster healthier communities. With support from the James M. Cox Foundation, Food Well Alliance has empowered over 300 community gardens and urban farms in the region, creating a sustainable local food movement.
Our Impact
Since 2015, generous donors have helped sustain over 300 farms, gardens, and orchards served by Food Well Alliance. The nonprofit has supported growers at 195 gardens and farms across Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties, significantly strengthening metro Atlanta’s local food system.
Why Donate?
Food Well Alliance relies on the generosity of donors to provide essential resources and support to local growers, ensuring everyone has access to the healthiest food available. This year, every dollar donated is DOUBLED, thanks to matching gifts from the Food Well Board and Tito's Handmade Vodka, up to $25,000.
