Our Story

Founded in 2010 by Rev. Nancy Yarnell and Michelle P. Neville, Food Security for America (FSA) builds on the innovative Food Security Group model from the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The organization is dedicated to expanding this model throughout Georgia and nationally, ensuring food is provided in a dignified manner while fostering community and self-sufficiency.

Our Impact

FSA operates Food Security Groups in Georgia and trains nonprofit and faith-based organizations across the U.S. to manage their own groups. This enables individuals and families to achieve better lifestyles through access to healthy food and community support.
