Food Justice Coalition

Our Story

The Food Justice Coalition is dedicated to increasing healthy food access throughout Utah. This volunteer-operated collective unites students, farmers, restaurants, non-profits, local businesses, community leaders, and individuals to build equitable and resilient food systems.

Impact

In the past two years, the coalition has served over 39,000 meals to Utahns facing hunger, thanks to the efforts of 487 volunteers and 33 partners. By collaborating with local farmers and restaurants, surplus food is transformed into nutritious, plant-based meals.
