Our Story
Founded in November 2006 by Rebecca Rund and Brenda Kizor, Food for Thought, Inc. began as a pilot program called Fritsch Friends. This initiative aimed to provide discreet weekly bags of food to the neediest children in local schools. With the unwavering support of the community and dedicated volunteers, Food for Thought has grown into a vital nonprofit organization serving 16 schools. The mission is clear: to help hungry children by providing not just food, but also solutions, resources, and increased awareness to combat hunger.
