FOOD FOR THE SPIRIT

Food for the Spirit was incorporated in November of 2022. Operations did not begin until Jan. 01, 2023. Prior to that F4TS was a project of it's fiscal sponsor, Open Buffalo, Inc. Under Open Buffalo's fiscal sponsorship, F4TS' programs are educational in nature, operating and partnering with networks made up of facilitators and community partners working together and centering principles of racial equity and food sovereignty through collective decision making. The three main programs of service our facilitators support are: 1. Place-based network development and support (64.5% of expenses). Facilitating community story telling, shifting narratives and public understanding (18.3% of expenses). 3. Hosting healing and ecological justice retreats (10.8% of expenses).
