Since 2014, Food Equality Initiative has been dedicated to combating hunger within the food allergy and celiac disease community. In late 2021, the mission expanded to include all diet-treated illnesses, embracing the food is medicine movement. In 2024, services will be offered to qualified clients in Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas and Jackson County in Missouri.
As of October 2024, 1989 nourishing meals have been provided.
