Since 1994, The Food Depot has been dedicated to creating food secure futures across Northern New Mexico. This mission is driven by the collective efforts of staff, volunteers, and community partners who work tirelessly to combat hunger and food insecurity. The journey began in the early 1990s with the collaboration of local organizations, leading to the establishment of a food bank that has grown exponentially over the years.

In 2023, The Food Depot and its partner agencies distributed an impressive 9 million pounds of food, with a focus on providing nutritious options such as fruits, vegetables, and protein.
