Our Story
Founded in 1997, the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana began its journey in a small warehouse with just two part-time employees. Today, it operates from a 30,000 square-foot facility, supported by a dedicated team of 17 staff members and numerous volunteers, distributing over 6 million pounds of food annually.
Impact on the Community
Thanks to the generosity of donors and partners, the Food Bank serves over 1,400 seniors and distributes food to more than 1,016 children weekly, significantly improving community wellness.
