Food Allergy Science Initiative

Our Story

Founded by parents who witnessed the struggles of children with life-threatening food allergies, the Food Allergy Science Initiative (FASI) emerged from a 2015 symposium aimed at addressing these critical issues. In collaboration with the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, FASI was officially launched in 2016 to drive innovative research in food allergies.

Impact

FASI has made remarkable strides in food allergy research, resulting in 118 published research projects and 6 patents for diagnostics and treatments. This collaborative effort has unveiled crucial insights into the connections between the nervous and immune systems, reshaping the landscape of food allergy understanding.
