Our Story

In September 2012, a dedicated group of volunteers began their mission in downtown Indianapolis, responding to the urgent needs of the homeless population. Initially focused on providing hot meals, they quickly realized that the individuals in these camps sought more than just food; they craved connection and understanding. Through consistent outreach and a commitment to unconditional love, barriers were broken, and trusting relationships flourished. This approach has allowed Food 4 Souls to uncover the true needs of those served, guiding the mission to provide holistic support.
