Our Story

Fonkoze was founded in the heart of Haiti's struggle for freedom and equality, aiming to provide economic democracy alongside political democracy. Established by grassroots leaders, including Father Joseph Philippe, Fonkoze empowers the poor, especially women, through access to vital financial services.
