Our Story

The dream of a civic center and ice arena to serve the communities of Blaine and Spring Lake Park was realized in 1982. Hundreds of families from the Blaine and Spring Lake Park Youth Hockey Associations came together with a common goal: Ice Time! Through thousands of volunteer hours dedicated to construction, fundraising, and advocacy, the North Suburban Civic Center opened its doors on October 25, 1982. Since then, Fogerty Arena has become one of the State’s premier Civic Center/Ice Arenas, hosting thousands of youth and high school hockey games, as well as numerous tournaments, from Mite Jamborees to State Championships. In 2013, the Four Seasons Curling Club opened, marking the first year-round curling facility in North America and establishing itself as a significant player in the curling community.

Impact

Fogerty Arena has hosted thousands of youth and high school hockey games and has become the official training site for the United States Curling Association, enhancing the overall experience for all patrons.
